Outpatient intensive care (also known as home ventilation care) is aimed at individuals who require intensive medical supervision due to a severe illness or accident – but do not need to remain permanently in a hospital. Our specially trained nursing professionals provide round-the-clock care in their own homes or in a shared living arrangement. The goal is to enable a life that is as self-determined and secure as possible outside of a clinical setting.
As a rule, the costs are covered by the statutory or private health insurance , provided there is a medical prescription (§37 SGB V). We are happy to assist you with the application process, communication with the health insurance company, and all organizational steps, so that you receive the necessary care quickly and easily.
After initial contact, we arrange a personal consultation – gladly at the hospital, in rehabilitation, or at your home. Together with doctors, therapists, and relatives, we plan the transition from the clinic. Our nursing professionals ensure that care begins seamlessly and safely as soon as all prerequisites are met (e.g., ventilation technology, aids, medical orders).
Our nursing staff are certified specialists (health and general nurses or geriatric nurses) with additional specialized training in outpatient ventilation according to current guidelines (e.g., DIGAB). Regular training, emergency drills, and continuing education guarantee high quality of care and safety.
Yes, that is one of our main goals. Through the home environment or a family-like shared living arrangement, normality and quality of life are created. Our nursing staff not only provide medical support but also promote independence, social contacts, and participation in daily life – individually adapted to the patient's capabilities.
